Town of Duels Play free

Frequently asked questions

Is Town of Duels free?

Yes. Town of Duels is free to play. Gold and shards are earned by playing. Rubies are won in the game too, and soon they can also be bought with real money. Rubies only unlock cosmetics, so nothing you buy makes you stronger.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Town of Duels runs in your web browser. Open the game and press play.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. The game runs in a mobile browser and works with touch as well as a mouse.

Do I need an account?

No. You can play against the computer as a guest, and your progress stays in that browser. A free account saves your progress online and lets you duel other players.

Can I play against other people?

Yes. With a free account you can join 1v1 matches against players around the world and climb the rankings.

Is the game pay to win?

No. Rubies only unlock cosmetics such as Crimson frames and board styles, and they cannot buy cards or anything else that makes you stronger. Card levels do not count in online 1v1 matches either, so both players fight with even cards and only the looks carry over.

How do I win a battle?

Bring the enemy leader down from 25 health to zero. Only a character standing inside the enemy base, the two rows on their side of the board, can strike a leader. If no leader has fallen after round 20, the final bell rings and the lord with less health loses.

How many cards are there?

There are 297 cards to collect, in six rarities from Common to Unique.

How old do I need to be?

You must be at least 13, or the minimum age for online services in your country if that is higher.

How do I delete my account?

Open the Account screen in the game and choose to delete your account. This removes your progress and email address.

How do I report someone in chat?

Click the name of the player in chat, then choose to report the message or block the player.
